Nearly 500 travel advisors took part in the Jamaica Tourist Board's Jamaica Virtual Product Showcase this week.
Advisors were able to virtually mix and mingle with 35 suppliers from all over Jamaica and Canada, including Air Canada Vacations, Sandals, Sunwing, TravelBrands, Transat, Iberostar, WestJet Vacations, AMResorts, Half Moon Jamaica and more.
They also were able to watch videos and take in presentations from Jamaica tourism officials.
Agents took part in one-on-one meetings and also had time for games and prizes. AMResorts said it's offering free nights to top advisors who book rooms in July and August.
JTB officials thanked advisors for their loyalty, and said Canadian agents will be a big part of Jamaica's tourism recovery.
Jamaica is now allowing accommodations and attractions outside of the destination's resilient corridors to open to visitors.
