Four independent travel advisors from the Canada West region of Direct Travel -- recently re-branded from Vision Travel -- have been named to the prestigious Condé Nast Travel Specialists list.
The list, which features 400 travel advisors and niche tour operators around the world, recognizes top advisors for their experience, expertise, resourcefulness and customer care. As Condé Nast expresses it: "They'll pull off the impossible and spare you the logistics."
The Canadian Direct Travel advisors are White-Rock, B.C.-based Ariane Henry (making her third appearance on the list); sisters Lisa and Nancy Zupancic of Toronto (who also appeared last year); and Katherine Velan of Montreal.
Reacting to the news, Henry said she feels honoured to be singled out for the accolade, especially considering the challenges the industry has suffered in the past three years.
"Travel is my passion and I love helping clients really experience a new destination or a familiar place with a different lens. Helping create amazing memories for my clients brings me so much joy."
Colleague Katherine Velan reports that she has worked her whole adult life to make sure her clients have the most memorable trips of their lives, and that she loves to make connections and use them to deliver the very best to her clients.
Two of their Direct Travel colleagues in the U.S. (Jennifer Fried of Cleveland, Ohio and Jesse Taylor of Naples, Fla. - another third-time honouree) also appear on prestigious list.
