Fareconnect is crossing the border.
The Canadian host agency and Ensemble member has announced the launch of Fareconnect USA, a separately operated company that will initially serve travel advisors in California, with plans to expand into Florida in 2027.
Founded in Medicine Hat, Fareconnect currently supports more than 550 travel advisors across Canada. The company has largely focused on bringing new advisors into the industry through training, mentorship and technology rather than recruiting established advisors from other host agencies.
That approach will continue with Fareconnect USA, which will operate independently through FareConnectUSA.com.
"As we grow in the U.S., our priority remains exactly what it has always been; helping new advisors build successful careers," said Rick Gaudet, CEO of Fareconnect.com.
"We're not looking to be disruptors. Our focus is on bringing new people into the industry, giving them the right training and support, and helping them build businesses they can be proud of. That's how we believe the industry grows."
Rick and Cindy Gaudet founded Fareconnect after careers in the military. Rick's experience as a military training instructor helped shape the company's emphasis on training and hands-on coaching for advisors entering the business.
Cruise Market Part of U.S. Expansion
The move south of the border is also expected to increase Fareconnect's focus on cruise sales.
California and Florida are major North American cruise markets, and Fareconnect says it plans to expand its cruise training, supplier relationships and advisor resources as it establishes its U.S. business.

Fareconnect USA will begin operations in California, followed by a planned Florida expansion in 2027.
