The Fall Granite Travel Trade Expos proved to be another fantastic opportunity for suppliers to connect with agents in smaller markets in Canada. The Expos which occurred in Winnipeg (October 7), Victoria (October 9th) and Surrey, (October 10) drew over 30 Suppliers and over 240 agents hungry for product information leading into the busy fall selling season.
“It was our first time coming to Winnipeg and of course, everyone's always a little nervous when holding an event in a new market,” said Bradley Dean, Partner, Granite Productions in Oakville. “But this far exceeded our expectations and I’m thrilled that our first Fall Expos 2024 were such a success and so are our partners and the agents who attended.”
Each Expo continued to be focused on training and networking, with face-to-face interaction with agents and products. In each city, a presentation series featured 15-minute segments by suppliers, followed by a trade show, dinner, and prize giveaways.

"We recently attended the Granite Travel Trade Expo in Winnipeg,” said Barry Mosiondz, FareConnect. “It was a great experience and a very well organized event with many, many vendors, hotel chains and travel trade professionals. The event started right on time with 15 minute presentations from several vendors which was great as it gave you a good overview of their products or properties. Everything was kept on time with the presentations and then we had the opportunity to visit with each of the vendors who presented along with others in a separate room where they had tables set up with their brochures and giveaways. We had a light dinner and there were some excellent prizes given away from the vendors in attendance. It was an excellent event and we highly recommend it for any travel professional to attend the Granite Trade Group Expo when they come to your community."
