With the general course, travel advisors will learn everything they need to about Jamaica to sell confidently. There are sections that showcase Jamaica's family offerings, its special interest markets and adventure travel. Eight chapters cover the country's unique selling points, attractions and goes in depth on top destinations such as Negril, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. The course also provides detailed information on experiences that are popular for clients such as eco-adventure in the Blue Mountains, exploring history and culture and recreation and sports, including golf.
Travel advisors can also learn how to plan the perfect Jamaica destination wedding. This course covers accommodation and venue choices, activities for couples and guests, a variety of natural settings for ceremonies and the ease of planning a wedding with planners and hotel management.
Travel advisors who complete the general education course earn a certificate as a Jamaica Travel Specialists as well as the chance to earn three additional Continuing Education Credits from the Travel Institute for members. When completing the weddings and honeymoons course, travel advisors earn a certificate as a Jamaica Weddings & Honeymoons Specialist.

There are a number of other benefits to travel advisors who complete the program, including access to the One Love Rewards program, which in addition to benefits like cash rewards to top booking agents of the month, include arrival courtesies at Sangster Airport for travel advisors as well as their bride and groom clients.
