With an ever-growing need to keep clients informed and mitigate the risk of liability to travel agents and agencies, e-Travel Technologies has launched a virtual app that can keep travellers abreast of events that may impact their travel plans from the home screen of their smartphone.
Since 1988, e-Travel Technologies has serviced the retail travel space by delivering "know before you go" destination information. In the past, the information has come in the form of Travel Advisories and Real-Time Alerts. The company also offers Duty of Care tools for their retail partners to resell to corporate clients.
"The benefit of the virtual app is that it provides the latest Real-Time Alerts relevant to their itinerary, flight status info and country destination information, all with a simple click, with no downloading required," states e-Travel Technologies president and CEO Don Churchill.
