Apply Now to Serve on an ACTA Advisory Committee

 ACTA has openings on both the Independent Travel Advisor (ITA) Committee and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Committee for 2025. You are invited to apply to join these influential committees. 

The Independent Travel Advisor Committee focuses on meeting the challenges faced by independent advisors. It advocates for them, creates professional development opportunities and works to ensure the voices of ITAs are heard when it comes to shaping industry practices and policies.

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee collaborates on all ACTA initiatives, working to create an organization where DEI principles are integral. By creating strategies to attract and retain diverse talent and enhance cultural competencies, the DEI Committee works to develop an industry that serves all Canadians. 

ACTA underscores that in addition to doing important work within the organization, serving on a committee is a great way to network and mentor other travel professionals, while contributing to shaping the future of the industry. Members who can bring varied perspectives and experiences to these roles are especially encouraged to apply. 

Committee meetings are held virtually four times a year. Anyone interested in joining either committee is invited to apply via this form. 

Applications are open until Jan. 31, 2025. Committee selections will be announced in February.
