Air Canada Vacations wants to help advisors grow their group travel business and is launching a series of cross-Canada workshops to do just that.
"Forget sitting through hours of slides and presentations," says Dianne Pedroso, National Groups Key Account Manager, at Air Canada Vacations. "We've created a hands-on, collaborative experience that equips advisors with practical takeaways, greater confidence and renewed excitement for growing their groups business."
The workshops will be an interactive learning experience, designed to help travel advisors strengthen their groups expertise and build confidence planning and booking group travel.
"Groups remain one of the most valuable growth opportunities for travel advisors, and we believe the education supporting them should reflect that," says Elish Tait, Manager, National Accounts at Air Canada Vacations. "These workshops provide advisors with direct access to the tools, knowledge, and expertise they need to confidently grow their groups business and deliver even greater value to their clients."
The day-long learning will feature practical exercises, live demonstrations, and collaborative activities, through which advisors will gain actionable knowledge they can immediately apply to their business. Upon completion, advisors will have the opportunity to earn their Air Canada Vacations Groups Specialist designation, signifying their advanced knowledge in group travel.
According to Air Canada Vacations, these workshops are designed for both new and experienced groups sellers. The curriculum covers the Air Canada Vacations Groups journey, operational best practices, recent technology enhancements, and proven strategies for identifying and converting groups opportunities.
To maintain a highly interactive learning environment, attendance will be limited to approximately 75 to 100 travel advisors per session.
