ACTA Marks 'Travel Agent Day' with Social Media Contest, Getaway Prizes

To mark Travel Agent Day on May 7, the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) is celebrating travel advisors with a social media contest and luxury getaway prizes.

"Your passion, knowledge, and dedication inspire adventure and make the world more accessible for everyone," ACTA stated in a press release.

Advisors can enter by following @ACTACanada_ or @ACTAQuebec on Instagram and checking the contest rules for a chance to win a 3-night stay for two at Secrets St. Lucia, Secrets Aruba, or a 5-night stay at Dreams Playa Esmeralda Punta Cana. 

“It’s our way of saying thank you for everything travel advisors do,” said ACTA President, Wendy Paradis.

The contest runs from May 7 to May 15, 2025. Travel is valid for one year.
