The Caribbean Without The Crowds

Dominica has several nice beaches, but it's an island best known for its luscious rainforests and waterfalls.

Saltwhistle Bay on Mayreau has a stunning, quiet beach. It's a marvellous Caribbean island for folks who truly want to get away from it all.

Pirates Points is a lovely, low-key resort on Little Cayman Island, which has some of the best diving in the Caribbean.

Grenada is somestimes known as The Spice Island, but it's also famous for its nature hikes and waterfalls.

Some consider Trunk Bay the prettiest beach in the Caribbean. It's a wonderful spot on the north shore of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Anguilla is a short ferry ride from St. Martin and features some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. The horses seem to love it, too.

Nevis, which is part of St. Kitt's and Nevis, has several amazing beaches and more than a few great places to stay, including Nisbet Plantation and a lovely Ffour Seasons hotel that has one of the Caribbean's best golf courses. A climb up Mt. Nevis is a strenous but rewarding activity to try on the island.

Willemstad, Curacaco is famous for its architecture and its "swinging bridge." There's also a beautiful, historic synagogue that's definitely worth checking out.
