Sunwing Vacations has launched its 2025-2026 winter campaign, placing travel advisors at the centre of its messaging by featuring them directly in campaign creative.
"Travel advisors are central to our success, and we don't just say that – we act on it," said Deana Murphy, vice president of Trade Sales and Business Development at Sunwing Vacations.
"This campaign further demonstrates our appreciation of the travel advisors that work with us. We're putting real advisors in our advertising and we're building campaigns that reflect their expertise and the value they bring to their clients."
The campaign introduces a character called Val, a bilingual “Flynancial Advisor” from Trois-Rivières, Quebec, who is depicted as the face of working with travel professionals. Val operates from a fictional “Value Lab,” described as a command centre representing how advisors research, compare, and design vacations for clients.
Several Canadian travel advisors took part in the filming of the campaign.
“Filming the Sunwing Vacations commercial was such a fun and memorable experience, thanks to the supportive team I had the pleasure of working with,” said Yulia Borg of TravelOnly.
“This was my first time being involved in a project like this, and it was especially cool that a few real [travel] agents were featured—it made the campaign feel so genuine.”
Roman Maievych of Top Travel Agency also took part. “Being part of a Sunwing commercial as a real travel advisor is such a cool and unique experience. I’m proud to be one of the few chosen, and with my years of expertise helping clients plan their trips, I can say Sunwing [Vacations] truly delivers an outstanding product that makes vacations easy and memorable.”
For the upcoming winter season, Sunwing has expanded its schedule with more destinations and resort options. New offerings include flights to Samaná, Dominican Republic and Managua, Nicaragua; a new Thunder Bay–Punta Cana route; and additional resorts such as Eurostars Grand Cayaoa and Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana.
