Exciting New Attraction Added to TTC Tours

Sending your clients on a TTC tour to Egypt will be even more exciting starting in November, when the eagerly-anticipated Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) opens its doors.

Every Trafalgar and Insight tour in Egypt will include a stop at GEM once it is fully opened next month. The museum will be offered as an optional excursion on Costsaver tours.

The opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum will be one of the most significant cultural moments of the decade,” said Jen Hirtle, General Manager for EMEA Travel Experiences, TTC Tour Brands. “Egypt has always been a destination that inspires travellers and now advisors can offer even more reasons for their clients to experience it with Trafalgar, Insight Vacations or Costsaver.”

GEM promises to be a highlight of upcoming Egyptian trips from now on. It will showcase over 5,000 treasures from Tutankhamun’s collection together for the first time, along with an iconic Grand Staircase, an 83-ton Ramses II statue in the Grand Hall and cutting-edge research and restoration facilities. Twice the size of the Louvre, the GEM will set a new global benchmark for cultural attractions.
