Intrepid Travel has promoted Caroline Tinsley to the newly created role of head of partnerships, Canada, signalling a strategic push to expand the company’s presence in the Canadian market.

In her new role, Tinsley will lead the company’s partnership strategy in Canada, focusing on industry collaborations, brand alliances, and long-term relationships.
She will report to the regional leadership team and oversee a growing team of Key Partnership Managers.

"Caroline’s vision, energy, and drive will be instrumental in shaping the next chapter of Intrepid’s partnerships in Canada,” said Christian Wolters, president of Canada at Intrepid Travel. “We are thrilled to have her leading this key area as we grow our presence and deepen our impact across the Canadian market.”
Tinsley, who previously served as Global DMC partnerships manager, officially stepped into her new role on September 22.

“I’m excited to help shape Intrepid’s future in Canada by building relationships that fuel sustainable growth and inspire more Canadians to travel with purpose.”

The move comes as Intrepid reports record growth in Canada.
Canadian bookings are up 32% year-over-year, with domestic travel surging 97% and East Coast Canada bookings up 118%, prompting the addition of new fall departures. The company has also made recent hires on the West Coast.
