Hyatt Opens First Niagara Falls Hotel, Closest Canadian Hotel to the Falls

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened its first hotel in Niagara Falls, adding Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview to its World of Hyatt program.

The property joins Hyatt’s Classics Portfolio and is positioned as the closest Canadian hotel to the Falls, overlooking the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.

“At the center of one of North America’s most visited attractions, Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview gives World of Hyatt members and guests the opportunity to take in unobstructed views of a natural wonder,” said Katie Johnson, Vice President of Global Brand Strategy, Classics Portfolio, Hyatt. “We’re excited to welcome this property to the Classics portfolio to give our members opportunities to explore the beauty of the Niagara region.”

The hotel has 611 renovated rooms and suites across 42 floors. Many rooms face the Horseshoe and American Falls, while others overlook the city. Standard in-room features include a flat-screen television, Nespresso machine and mini fridge. Suites offer separate living and sleeping areas.

The property includes more than 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space, positioning it for group and business travel. On-site amenities also include an indoor pool, fitness centre, business services and multiple dining options.

The opening expands Hyatt’s footprint in Canada and adds a new branded option in the Niagara Falls market, within driving distance of Toronto and Buffalo.
