Four Seasons Hotel Toronto has appointed Chelan Goonetilleke as its new General Manager.
He joins the Yorkville property from Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler, where he most recently served as General Manager.
Goonetilleke began his career with Four Seasons in 2007 as Senior Director of Marketing for the company’s resorts in Mauritius and Seychelles. He later moved to Dubai, overseeing marketing for Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach and Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre.
He joined the Whistler resort in 2017 and advanced through several leadership roles before being named General Manager.

During his tenure in Whistler, the resort earned several distinctions, including 2 Michelin Keys in 2025, and was named #1 Resort in Canada by both Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards and Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards.
