Envoyage, Flight Centre Travel Group’s independent membership network, has announced its 2025 Canadian Icons who will be recognized at the network’s global reward event in South Africa.
The top-performing advisors will begin their journey in Johannesburg before spending two nights at Bakubung Lodge in Pilanesberg National Park and a final night at the Palace of the Lost City in Sun City.
According to a press release, the itinerary includes private morning and evening game drives, a dinner under the stars, and cocktail events.
This year’s Canadian Icons are:
- Julie Smigadis, Travel Our World
- Ellen Lezcano, Atlas Travel Solutions
- Mike Sanderson, Up, Up and Away Travel
- John Castell
- Joanne Roberts
- Lisa Kraiger, West Canadian Travel
- Tammy Newman
- Adam Taylor, Altitude Travel
- Roxy Rae
- Christine Wilson
They will join other Icons from Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, and the United States.
Flight Centre Travel Group global managing director, Luxury & Independent Brands, Danielle Galloway, said the program reflects Envoyage’s focus on recognizing excellence.

Canadian honouree Roxy Rae called the recognition a career milestone.
“Envoyage has been the biggest support in my business this year. From accounting to supplier relations, tools, and business development, I’ve felt backed every step of the way,” Rae said.
“Being named an Envoyage Icon and walking beside such inspiring, passionate professionals in South Africa is a dream come true. These are the people I’ve looked up to since day one — and to now stand among them is incredibly humbling.”
The Icons event will take place ahead of Envoyage’s global member conference, Worldwide, bringing 400 members to Sun City from September 12 to 15, 2025.
