Silversea Redefines Cruise Fare Structure for Greater Flexibility

Leading luxury expedition cruise line Silversea is introducing a new fare structure with three different types to suit guests and their travel desires, called The Luxury of Choice.

The three different cruise fares include the new All-Inclusive Plus Fare program, which offers a refundable deposit, a Fare Guarantee and shore excursion credit, along with the inclusions provided in the traditional all-inclusive program. 

The All-Inclusive Fare will be available exclusively on oceangoing voyages, which includes a non-refundable deposit and gives guests flexibility to purchase shore excursions before the cruise or while onboard. 

Both all-inclusive fare options include a flexible cancellation schedule. 

The Last-Minute Fare offers a non-refundable deposit and requires the full booking to be paid at the time of booking, but provides some discounts on voyages booked within five months of departure.

Beyond Silversea’s new fare structure, the line is changing its shore excursion offerings for more personalized experiences. Now launched, the land experiences include Highlight Experiences, for tours of iconic sites; Signature Experiences, smaller tours; Private Experiences, for a select group of guests; Custom Experiences, tailor-made tours; and Overland Experiences, two or three-day mid-cruise inland tours, available on select voyages.
