Polar cruise line Quark Expeditions is changing its Shackleton Club loyalty program, introducing new tiers that offer more benefits based on how many expeditions guests have taken with the brand.

The Shackleton Club now has Silver, Gold and Platinum membership tiers.

“For many of our guests, their first polar expedition is only the beginning,” said Sam Seward, President of Quark Expeditions. “The evolution of Shackleton Club allows us to recognize that loyalty in a more meaningful way, with benefits that grow alongside our guests’ journeys and give them even more value and flexibility as they continue exploring the polar regions with Quark.”

Travelers who take their second expedition with Quark will earn Silver tier, which includes early season access to new departures, a $750 offboard booking offer, a 90-day pre-departure cabin upgrade eligibility, $150 in shipboard credit, a $1,500 onboard rebooking offer and a $250 referral bonus.

Those who complete their third expedition earn the Gold tier of loyalty membership status, which includes early season access to new departures, a $1,000 offboard booking offer, priority 90-day pre-departure upgrade eligibility, $200 in shipboard credit, a $1,500 onboard rebooking offer, a $250 referral bonus and a 25% discount on adventure options.

Those who’ve taken four or more expeditions will be placed in the Platinum loyalty membership tier. These travelers will receive the most benefits: early season access, a $1,250 offboard booking offer, cabin upgrade eligibility 150 days pre-departure, $250 in shipboard credit, a $1,500 onboard rebooking offer, a $250 referral bonus, and a 50% discount on adventure options.

In addition, Platinum members receive flexible rebooking options and a 25% discount on pre- and post-expedition travel packages.
