MSC Cruises' Chefs Curate Trackside Menu for BWT Alpine Formula One Team

MSC Cruises served up a delicious feast at the Italian Grand Prix at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Italy.

Three of MSC’s top chefs—Luca Cesarini, Xiao Wang and Pasquale Puziello—created an exclusive menu for members of the BWT Alpine Formula One team, including drivers, pit crew, engineers and VIPs. Guests enjoyed signature dishes from several of MSC Cruises’ specialty restaurants, including Eataly, Kaito Sushi and Teppanyaki, Chef’s Garden Kitchen, Hola! Tacos & Cantina and more.

“This was a new and unique opportunity to showcase the creativity and skill of our chefs, bringing the same authentic gastronomic experience that our guests enjoy onboard to the racetrack,” says Stéphane Franchini, senior director of food and beverage at MSC Cruises.

The collaboration was part of the global partnership announced earlier this year between MSC Cruises and BWT Alpine Formula One Team. MSC Cruises has been a global sponsor of Formula 1 since 2022.

The menu included:

• Hamachi and Ora King Salmon Sashimi with truffle teriyaki (from Kaito Sushi)
• La Burrata with Tuscan tomato bread compote and Taggiasca olive crumble basil (from Eataly)
• Le Tagliatelle al Tartufo with Toscana Butter, Parmigiano Reggiano and Appennino truffle (from Eataly)
• Misoyaki Black Cod with crunchy rice cake and wasabi beurre blanc (from Pan Asian restaurant)
• Glazed Beef Short Rib with cauliflower purée and sweet-and-sour onions (from Chef’s Garden Kitchen)
• Crab cakes with jumbo lump crab, Cajun remoulade greens and lemon (from Butcher’s Cut Steakhouse)
• Decadent desserts including Il Tiramisu (from Ocean Cay Restaurant) and Mexican Flan (from Hola! Tacos Mexican Cantina)
