Disney Cruise Line's New Ship Disney Adventure Heads Out for Sea Trials

Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, Disney Adventure, has reached a key construction milestone.

On Monday, the ship departed Wismar, Germany, to sail toward the North Sea for sea trials.

The vessel will make a quick pitstop at Rügen Island to refill its fresh water tanks and load up on supplies before starting sea trials, according to The Maritime Executive. 

Once sea trials are finished, the vessel will head to Bremerhaven for final touches.

It’s slated for delivery to Disney Cruise Line later this month. Disney Adventure will sail from Singapore on its maiden voyage in December.
