Atlas Ocean Voyages is celebrating a record booking milestone as demand for its luxury expedition cruises continues to grow.

The cruise line recorded its strongest single-day booking performance in company history on August 31, driven by limited availability on Antarctica sailings in November, 2026, advance bookings for 2027 and growing interest in its forthcoming vessel, Atlas Adventurer.

The company also credited travel advisors with helping drive bookings and introduce the brand to new luxury travelers.

“We are seeing guests respond to the evolution of our brand and to the experience we are delivering,” says James A. Rodriguez, president and chief executive officer of Atlas Ocean Voyages. “At the same time, our travel advisor partners have been tremendous advocates for Atlas. Their confidence in our product, their support of our growth and their ability to introduce Atlas to the right luxury travelers have been instrumental in building this momentum.”

Demand has been particularly strong for mid-level and premium suite categories, including the brand’s Concierge Collection.

“Guests are telling us what they value through what they are booking,” says Rodriguez. “They are choosing the suite categories, experiences and destinations that allow them to go deeper into a place while still having the comfort, service and sense of privacy they expect from a luxury vacation.”

Advance bookings for Atlas Adventurer, the first Atlas-class vessel, are also building ahead of its November 2028 debut in Kobe, Japan. About 50 percent of the yacht’s Owner’s Suites have already been reserved, according to Atlas Ocean Voyages.

Atlas Adventurer will expand the company’s capacity and offer all-suite accommodations and yacht-style luxury across itineraries in Asia and Africa before entering the Mediterranean in 2029.

Atlas Ocean Voyages is also expanding its Fly the Drake offerings for the 2027-2028 Antarctica season. The company plans to launch its 2028-2029 Antarctica season in early October and release additional details about Atlas Adventurer later this fall.

The record booking day comes as Atlas Ocean Voyages continues its repositioning as a luxury expedition cruise line, a shift it made in early 2026 with a focus on all-suite accommodations, personalized service and immersive experiences.
