Railbookers is now offering five new independent train holidays through Switzerland, one of the world’s most sought-after holiday destinations.
Each of the new journeys can be booked for immediate travel or up to two years in advance, with availability through 2023 and beyond.
Starting with Zurich and Lucerne, a seven-day holiday to two of the country’s most sought-after cities, the new itineraries also include the nine-day Swiss Mountain Peaks, The GoldenPass Express, and Zurich and The GoldenPass Express, and Swiss Mountain Peaks from Zurich trips, and two spectacular 10-day journeys with St Moritz, The Top of Europe, and The Matterhorn from Milan and The Matterhorn, The Top of Europe, and St. Moritz from Zurich.
Each itinerary includes different destinations and activities, but all include hotel accommodations and rail travel, along with hand-picked sightseeing and activities created by Railbookers’ experts.
Railbookers says many of the rail trips are along Switzerland’s most scenic routes, allowing customers to enjoy the views now while many other trips along the same route have limited or no short-term availability. Several of the itineraries feature the GoldenPass Express, an unforgettable train journey from Montreux to Interlaken.
Beyond the scenery, travellers will be treated to the best of Switzerland with the assortment of activities available, such as a boat cruise and tour of the Lindt Home of Chocolate in Zurich, journeys up several of the most famous Swiss Alps including the Jungfrau, Mount Pilatus and Mount Rigi, and much more.
As with all of Railbookers’ 5,000-plus itineraries, everything is customizable, whether it’s additional hotel nights, additional sightseeing, or luxury upgrades. Independent travellers can enjoy all that Switzerland has to offer on their own schedule while Railbookers does the work of planning and making arrangements in advance.
Railbookers says travel advisors can save time with one call, letting the company’s experts handle all the details of their clients’ holiday, including on-trip support in the event of schedule changes or interruptions.
