Porter Airlines has been recognized as a 2026 Four Star Regional Airline by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX), placing it among the top three regional airlines globally.
According to a recent press release, the APEX Five Star and Four Star Airlines Awards are based entirely on verified passenger feedback. Nearly one million flights across approximately 600 airlines worldwide were rated by passengers, with the results certified by APEX in partnership with TripIt from Concur.

APEX defines a regional airline as one that primarily operates flights within a single continent, focusing on short- or medium-haul routes.
“Porter has been elevating economy air service for almost 19 years and we’re extremely proud of our best-in-class onboard product. Combined with the genuine care provided by our team members - which cannot be replicated - we see consistently high passenger ratings,” said Kevin Jackson, president of Porter Airlines.

“As we further expand our network across the continent, more passengers will have the option to experience Porter’s renowned service that is available equally to everyone onboard."
Porter previously received the APEX Four Star Major Airline award in 2025. Since then, the airline has expanded its North American network and announced its first routes outside Canada and the U.S., with flights to Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean launching this fall.
Porter also began new service from Hamilton International Airport, adding domestic destinations along with Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Cancun and Puerto Vallarta.
The airline’s fleet currently includes 47 Embraer E195-E2 jets and 29 De Havilland Dash 8-400 turboprops.
