Porter Airlines officially launched daily nonstop flights between Hamilton (YHM) and both Halifax (YHZ) and Vancouver (YVR).
The routes were previously reported by TravelPulse Canada in February.
Flights are operated using 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft with no middle seats, offering free Wi-Fi and complimentary beer, wine, and snacks for all passengers.
“Our emphasis on providing genuine service for everyone who travels with us is an important distinction for Hamiltonians that for too long haven't received the elevated experience they deserve,” said Andrew Pierce, Porter’s vice president of network planning and reporting.
“We believe the community will appreciate the ability to fly closer to home.”
The new routes coincide with recent terminal upgrades at Hamilton Airport, which include revamped interiors, better signage, and improved amenities.
