Travelling to and from London, ON will be a lot easier thanks to Porter Airlines’ expansion of five new domestic routes.
“Travellers across Southwestern Ontario will have convenient access to popular cities from coast to coast, combined with the elevated, passenger-first experience Porter is known for,” says Kevin Jackson, president, Porter Airlines. “The addition of these routes ensures that over two million residents in the region have convenient travel options from their local airport.”
Porter announced the new routes will begin operating in the spring of 2027, with flights to Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal-MET, Ottawa and Vancouver flying up to 20x weekly.
“We are building on the strong passenger response to our recent winter sun destinations announcement by introducing five nonstop domestic routes. This expansion demonstrates that Porter is committed to making London a meaningful part of our network,” says Jackson.
The frequency of flights, including up to three daily roundtrips for Montreal and Ottawa, are aimed at giving business travellers the ability to make same-day trips. Flights to Montreal Metropolitan Airport feature access to the city’s newest passenger terminal, located 30 minutes from downtown.
“This announcement is about more than new flights. It is about connecting Southwestern Ontario to opportunities across Canada,” says Scott McFadzean, president and CEO, London International Airport. “These five domestic non-stop routes represent a transformational investment in our region, strengthening access for travellers and businesses while enhancing London's position as a growing centre for aviation and aerospace.”
