Air Canada announced new transatlantic flights for Summer 2026, adding European routes from Toronto, Montréal and Halifax, as well as the return of flights to Tel Aviv.
The airline will introduce non-stop service from Montréal to Berlin and Nantes, launch flights from Toronto to Ponta Delgada in the Azores, and add a new Halifax–Brussels connection.
Seasonal Montréal–Tel Aviv service will also resume.

“Air Canada is further expanding its comprehensive transatlantic network to offer customers even more exciting destinations to explore. From Canada to Berlin, Ponta Delgada, Nantes and Brussels, we are strategically increasing new non-stop routes across Europe to bring convenient access to key destinations, while strengthening economic ties, and supporting tourism,” said Mark Galardo, Air Canada executive vice president and chief commercial officer, and president, Cargo.

“With these additions, Air Canada will offer North America’s second largest transatlantic network by destinations next summer. We look forward to connecting Montréal, Toronto and Halifax with new services and destinations, a natural next step in our continued international growth,” Galardo added.

The announcement builds on Air Canada’s earlier Summer 2026 announcement, which included new flights to Palma de Mallorca and Catania from Montréal, Shanghai and Budapest from Toronto, and the extension of Vancouver–Bangkok service to year-round.
New Routes
Montréal–Berlin
Flights begin July 2 and operate three times weekly on the Airbus A321XLR, featuring lie-flat seats in Business Class.
- Montréal–Berlin: Tue, Thu, Sat (Jul. 2–Oct. 10, 2026)
- Berlin–Montréal: Wed, Fri, Sun (Jul. 3–Oct. 11, 2026)
Montréal–Nantes
Three weekly flights to France’s Loire Valley region start June 10.
- Montréal–Nantes: Wed, Fri, Sun (Jun. 10–Oct. 11, 2026)
- Nantes–Montréal: Mon, Thu, Sat (Jun. 11–Oct. 12, 2026)
Toronto–Ponta Delgada (Azores)
The airline's third destination in Portugal with three weekly flights to São Miguel Island.
- Toronto–Ponta Delgada: Tue, Thu, Sat (Jun. 11–Sep. 5, 2026)
- Ponta Delgada–Toronto: Wed, Fri, Sun (Jun. 12–Sep. 6, 2026)
Halifax–Brussels
The new route broadens Halifax’s international links, complementing existing flights to London Heathrow.

Montréal–Tel Aviv
Seasonal service returns with Boeing 787 Dreamliner flights twice weekly.
- Montréal–Tel Aviv: Fri, Sun (Jun. 5–Oct. 23, 2026)
- Tel Aviv–Montréal: Mon, Sat (Jun. 6–Oct. 24, 2026)
Air Canada says it will connect travellers to more than 126 global destinations next summer, offering up to 155,000 seats weekly across its long-haul network.
