Flair Launches Flights to Mexico City from Vancouver & Toronto

Flair Airlines has launched flights connecting Mexico City International Airport (MEX) with Vancouver (YVR) and Toronto (YYZ). 

The Vancouver service began on October 27, followed by Toronto on October 28.

“Making it easier for Mexicans to explore Canada, and for Canadians to discover Mexico, it’s what affordable, modern aviation is supposed to do,” said Maciej Wilk, CEO of Flair Airlines.

“This route is a major win for our customers. We’re proud to expand our international network and make meaningful connections more accessible for all.”

The flights operate three times per week in each direction. 

The Vancouver–Mexico City route departs Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays with fares starting at $191 CAD.

Toronto–Mexico City departs Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays starting at $160 CAD. 

Flair said the first flights from both cities sold out.

Gate events were held at YVR, YYZ, and MEX airports where officials in Canada and Mexico welcomed the new connections. 

“We are thrilled to welcome Flair’s new nonstop flights from Vancouver and Toronto to Mexico City,” said Julián Adem, Consul General of Mexico in Vancouver. 

“These routes strengthen the deep ties between our countries, connecting our families, businesses, and cultures.”

Kurush Minocher, interim CCO at Toronto Pearson, added, “With more than 250,000 people travelling between Toronto and Mexico City each year, we know that many passengers are eager to explore vibrant cities, and we are committed to providing a variety of options for our travellers to reach their destination.”

Flair says the new route underscores its ongoing international expansion and recent customer experience improvements under Flair FWD.
