Air Transat and Turkish Airlines Code Share Set to Commence

A reciprocal code share agreement between Air Transat and Turkish Airlines is set to commence in December. The agreement will see most Turkish Airlines flights between Canada and Istanbul (IST) carry an Air Transat number, according to data from Aeroroutes. Turkish Airlines presently flies to Montreal-Trudeau (YUL), Toronto Pearson (YYZ) and Vancouver (YVR).

Air Transat is also set to launch its own non-stop flight between Toronto and Istanbul. The year-round service will operate twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays beginning in December.

The code share flights are bookable now, for travel starting Dec. 7, 2025.
