TDC is inviting all travel industry members to take a break and focus on wellness, with health and wellness expert Scott Simons.
“To honour the contribution of travel advisors, we want to proudly and clearly highlight the importance of their role.” says Karine Gagnon, General Manager of TDC. “In fact, we want to say thank you to the women and men who embody the travel experience every day, across all networks, by gifting them a live wellness webcast—an energy stopover—for the second year in a row.”
The webinar, entitled From Reactive to Proactive in 61 Minutes, is open to all, regardless of which network they belong to. “People are at the heart of our business,” says Gagnon. “Human beings creating experiences for the benefit of other human beings. And at the core of it all are travel advisors. They listen, guide, reassure, and transform the desire to escape into concrete itineraries. They bring ideas to life. In a world where artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly prevalent, their expertise is a safe and reassuring anchor for travellers.”
The virtual event will focus on demystifying the first steps towards taking care of your health.
“Self-care is not a luxury—it’s a responsibility,” says Simons. “When we feel well, we become more present, more grounded, and better able to support others. The oxygen mask analogy isn’t just an image—it’s an essential truth.”
Gagnon is excited to be presenting this useful webinar in gratitude to travel advisors. “Saying thank you is essential. But moving from words to action, as we are doing with this webcast, truly matters to us at TDC. This energy stopover with Scott Simons aligns perfectly with that intention: helping each person move away from a constant sense of urgency, better manage their energy, and preserve breathing space—even when the pace is intense.”
The event will take place on May 14, 2026 at 2pm EST. Please register in advance, as space is limited.
