Expedia Group has launched its 'Fuel Up with TAAP' booking promotion to help members of its Travel Agent Affiliate Program (TAAP) offset rising gas prices.
The company says inflation in Canada rose to 6.7% in March, and fuel prices were a major driver. The cost of gasoline has risen nearly 40% since March of last year, according to Statistics Canada.
With a grand total of $4,500 of ESSO gift cards up for grabs, TAAP agents will be in the running with every eligible booking they make. Eligible bookings include standalone hotel bookings made between May 1 and June 30 and used before December 31, 2022. The more agents book, the more chances they have to win.
Five lucky winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries and announced in July.
Prizes include:
