The Switzerland Tourism office provides travelers with all of the information they need to plan a vacation or holiday in Switzerland. While Swiss neutrality, as well as its elevated altitude, may keep it above the European fray, it doesn't keep it out of the center of Europe when it comes to making vacations. The Alpine experience combines the world's best skiing with an après ski that is rich in European culture and comfort. In the summer those same Alps are a haven for hikers. While Swiss travel is well known for wholesome outdoor activities, Zurich is also one of Europe's "CoolCapitals," a joint marketing approach to the 20-something hip traveler. Zurich may be the country's hippest city, but there are plenty of smaller cities that compete with any in Europe for charm.
