The Dominican Republic is located in the Caribbean and shares the island of Hispaniola with neighboring country Haiti. Toward its north is the Atlantic Ocean and toward its south, you’ll find the colorful Caribbean Sea. The country’s climate is a humid tropical one, with year-round warm temperatures.
