WestJet Vacations Adds Online Cancellation Tool for Travel Advisors

WestJet Vacations has introduced a self-serve cancellation feature for travel advisors, allowing eligible vacation package bookings to be cancelled directly through the WestJet Vacations Agent Portal.

The new functionality is available through the Manage my bookings section of the portal and gives advisors another option for handling client cancellations without going through a separate support channel.

To cancel an eligible booking online, advisors will need the guest’s last name, booking number, email address and payment details.

Some Bookings Excluded

The self-serve cancellation option is not available for all reservations. Exclusions include:

• FIT bookings
• Departures within 24 hours
• Bookings with a previous change or cancellation fee
• Bookings with amendments or billing line adjustments

The addition expands the range of booking-management functions advisors can complete themselves online, particularly when clients’ plans change and a cancellation is required.
