G Adventures has released new details about its 2026 GX Summit in Cambodia this September, including exciting headline speakers, itinerary updates and more.
The GX Summit will begin with community-centric experiences, including a private river cruise to the Silk Village, a festival fair at Wat Phnom, a lunch at a local homestay and more. It culminates in the World Community Tourism Summit on September 27, where leaders and community groups provide keynote speeches and performances highlighting the impact of community tourism.
Highlights include the return of Judy Kepher Gona from Sustainable Travel and Tourism Africa, and Khadija Amahal, the newly appointed National Geographic Expedition Expert in Morocco and a member of the Indigenous Amazigh community.
The summit ends with an epic conclusion: a private gathering at Bayon Temple, where attendees will enjoy a celebration headlined by DJ Earworm.
“Building a great mashup is all about taking different elements and threading them into something that’s so much greater than the sum of its parts,” says G Adventures founder Bruce Poon Tip. “That’s the exact heartbeat of GX: bringing different people, places, and communities together from around the globe to build a shared experience that moves as one.”
“GX was built to celebrate the transformative impact travel can have when it’s done right, and we are so excited to bring the GX energy to Cambodia, a country defined by its incredible resilience, history, and warmth,” continued Poon Tip.
