EF Adventures has announced a new guided hiking tour through the Canadian Rockies.
The six-day itinerary, Canadian Rockies Hiking: Banff & Lake Louise, includes scenic hikes across Sulphur Mountain, Helen Lake, Lake Louise, and Sentinel Pass, with the option to extend the trip to eight days including a visit to Canmore, Alberta.
Highlights of the tour include:
- A summit hike of Sulphur Mountain, gaining 2,080 feet in elevation
- A trek through alpine meadows to Helen Lake
- A stop for tea and scones at the Lake Agnes Teahouse
- Viewpoint hikes over Lake Louise and Lake Agnes from the Little and Big Beehive
- A climb up the Sentinel Pass Trail from Lake Moraine through Larch Valley
- A brewery tour and tasting in Canmore’s growing craft beer scene
"EF Adventures is a culturally immersive, guided adventure tour operator with more than 31 tours in 20 countries across the world," the company stated.
The new Canadian itinerary is part of the operator’s broader Go Americas collection, developed in collaboration with its sister brand, EF Go Ahead Tours, to highlight travel within North America. Prices for the six-day tour start at USD$5,199.
EF Adventures says the route offers access to "bucket list-worthy hikes" and some of the most iconic alpine views in Canada, including the glacier-fed waters of Lake Louise and the sweeping vistas from Sentinel Pass—the highest trail-accessible pass in Banff National Park.
Travelers will also drive the Icefields Parkway, known as one of the world’s most scenic highways, and stay in accommodations including a chateau-turned-hotel on the edge of Lake Louise.
