Adventure Canada is hoping to encourage Canadians to stay home and discover some of the hidden corners of our country this year. To help facilitate this, the company has begun to offer Canadians the option of booking in Canadian dollars.

Although the industry standard remains USD, Adventure Canada is helping Canadian travellers avoid some of the volatility of fluctuating exchange rates with this new initiative. Encouraging domestic visits to some of the less-travelled corners of the country is important to the family-owned Canadian company. Expeditions with Adventure Canada travel through the Arctic, in the Pacific and in Atlantic Canada, to spots in Newfoundland and Labrador, Haida Gwaii, and Nunavut.

“For 35 years one thing has remained the same here at Adventure Canada: our unwavering belief that Canada, its wild lands, its distinct cultures, and kind-hearted, welcoming people offer a completely unique and world-class experience for visitors – both international and domestic,” says Cedar Swan, CEO of Adventure Canada. “We encourage everyone to come along to enjoy and appreciate the beauty and quintessential Canadian culture of these places, especially fellow Canadians who may not have had the chance to see the wonder in their own backyard.”

Advisors can reach out directly to the sales team at Adventure Canada to get pricing in Canadian dollars.
