The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) has issued a Closure Advisory for Temple & Temple Tours Inc., a Toronto-based travel agency specializing in student group travel.
The company voluntarily terminated its registration under the Travel Industry Act, 2002, effective March 24, 2025.
TICO had previously issued an Immediate Temporary Suspension Order on January 24, 2025, and has confirmed that all future departures booked with the company have been cancelled.
Consumers affected by the closure are encouraged to contact TICO’s Claims Department at 1-888-451-8426 or [email protected] for guidance on potential refunds.
Filing a Claim
Consumers who paid for future travel services or have not received a refund for cancelled bookings may file a claim with TICO’s Compensation Fund. The deadline for submitting claims is September 25, 2025.
Claims received by TICO after the filing deadline date will not be valid.
Those who paid by credit card must first attempt to dispute the charge with their credit card provider. If a refund is denied, a letter from the credit card company confirming the denial must be included in the claim submission to TICO.
