Operations at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) were temporarily disrupted Thursday morning due to a network outage that affected certain airport systems.
The outage, which has since been resolved, led to delays in check-in procedures and caused some flights to be pushed back.
CP24 reports passengers were warned to expect longer-than-normal wait times as airport staff worked to manage the flow of travellers.
“Operations are improving,” Pearson officials said in a statement, though they noted that lines could remain longer throughout the morning.
One frustrated traveller told CityNews that the baggage systems were down, describing the scene as chaotic.
Staff at the airport are reportedly assisting passengers and help ease the impact of the disruption.
