AirHelp has launched a free flight-tracking app.
According to a press release, AirHelp Flight and Claim Tracker provides unlimited real-time flight tracking, alerts for compensation eligibility, and tools for navigating air passenger rights—a process many travellers find confusing and often don’t realize they’re entitled to.
AirHelp’s service is available to Canadian travellers, in addition to passengers globally.
“Flight disruptions are an increasing concern for passengers, especially as we approach the summer season,” said Tomasz Pawliszyn, CEO at AirHelp.
“Our mission has always been to advocate for passengers, and with this new app, we are taking that commitment to the next level.”
Beyond flight tracking, the app also provides:
- Instant compensation alerts
- Free eligibility checks for flights from the past three years
- Live updates on gate changes, delays, cancellations, and baggage belt numbers
- Calendar and Gmail integration for seamless organization
- Options to add AirHelp+ protection for faster insurance payouts
Users receive alerts the moment they qualify for compensation and are guided through the claims process.
With AirHelp+, passengers facing delays, cancellations, or baggage issues can be paid out within hours—separate from any additional compensation they may claim.
“Passengers now have access to an all-in-one tool that keeps them informed in real-time, helps them navigate flight disruptions or lost luggage, and ensures they can easily claim for compensation they are rightfully owed,” added Pawliszyn.
AirHelp’s app is available to download.
