Later this season, The Elm Tavern will open in Chelsea Hotel, an elegant space for visitors and locals to enjoy elevated pub fare in the heart of Toronto.
Presently, guests are intrigued by the finishing construction happening behind the cordoned off section near the lobby, with snapshots of what the space will look like once it's complete.
The tavern will be open all day, evolving from breakfast service to business lunches to cocktails and live music at night. The new restaurant has an atmosphere that “balances vibrancy with understated sophistication.”

The food program is inspired by London’s gastropub culture, with locally-sourced Canadian ingredients. Local craft beers and an exclusive bespoke spirits program complete the scene behind the bar.
The Elm Tavern also features event spaces for corporate and social gatherings. “The Parlour” is a relaxed-yet-polished setting, with billiards and dart boards that nod to classic pub culture. At the centre of the venue, “The Canopy”—complete with an elm tree—creates a greenery-filled dining environment ideal for seated dinners, cocktail receptions, and elegant events.
The new dining space complements other recent and on-going renovations at Chelsea Hotel, including new family and wellness spaces, plus refreshed guest rooms, specialty suites and event spaces.
