The elegant Rimrock Banff hotel is undergoing a transformation. The venerable Rocky Mountain property will be the first in North America under the Emblems Collection umbrella, Accor’s newest ultra-luxury brand, and has closed while undergoing a complete renovation.
As a tease, the hotel shared a few details of what’s to come when the resort reopens under its new banner in the summer of 2026.

The property is cultivating a “private mountain enclave” vibe, with natural materials and design drawn from the surrounding environment. In its marketing materials, the new hotel invites guests to “wake to sunrise over the Rockies, step directly into national park trails, restore mind and body in a suspended meditation room or hydrothermal circuit, and linger over meals and beautifully crafted beverages from four new on-site dining experiences, including a seasonal chef-led restaurant and cocktail-forward vinyl listening room.”

A Fresh Take on Mountain Dining: Rimrock’s four new culinary experiences – from chef-driven Parker’s Table to vibrant Rimrock Social, intimate Listening Room, and a mountain café, called Market.
