Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, Walt Disney World Resort’s newest resort, will debut next summer, and we’ve received some exciting new details to share.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, the resort, which will be located along the southern shore of Bay Lake at the Florida theme park, will offer views of The Wetlands outdoor recreation area, which will feature a small water park, climbing area and lazy river.

The lobby takes inspiration from Pocahontas, with a blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture and a fiberoptic river running along the floor. Cypress wood recovered from rivers will comprise special accents, while custom wall tapestries will pay homage to the movie’s many landscapes.

When the resort opens, it’ll offer three different dining concepts for guests, ranging from a grab-and-go option to waterfront dining.

The most special of the dining venues is Moonglade, an enchanting table-service dining venue where guests enjoy water views and seasonal dishes.

Paint Out Point Bar & Grill is a pool bar option that takes its inspiration from the art of plein air and specializes in shareables.

Bay Lake Provisions is an all-day marketplace option for specialty coffee and grab-and-go foods.

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will also feature Dandelion Terrace, a lounge home to a two-story galley of archival artwork from Disney movies like Fantasia, dandelion light fixtures and sweeping views that make for a lovely, distanced view of Magic Kingdom Fireworks.

Outside, guests will enjoy the resort’s zero-entry pool, called Lakeshore Lagoon, along with a leisure pool and whirlpool spa, Cypress Point.

The resort will offer traditional hotel rooms, along with two-bedroom lake houses for guests to enjoy.
