More Luxury Choice for Visitors to Niagara-on-the-Lake in the Pipeline

Come the spring of 2026 you’ll have another lodging option for clients wanting to spend a little time in charming Niagara-on-the-Lake. 

The Clayfield will be a Hyatt franchise, operating under Hyatt Hotels’ Unbound Collection, joining a line notable for such properties as Grayson Hotel in New York City, The Eliza Jane in New Orleans and Hotel La Compañia in Panama City.

Presently under construction on Garrison Village Drive, the hotel is set to have 102 rooms: 60 guest rooms and 42 vacation apartments with kitchenettes. Hyatt Development currently has The Clayfield listed as “in the pipeline.”

According to Niagara This Week, a recent town tourism strategy document identified a lack of high-end hotels for visitors. The four-story hotel seeks to help address that need and serve to ease the rising demand for hotel rooms seen around the country.
