The Eastern Townships of Quebec are lovely any time of year, but there’s something special about winter. A new hotel opening at the base of Bromont–montagne d’expériences will give visitors a whole new way to enjoy it. The new Residence Inn by Marriott Bromont is the first ski-in, ski-out hotel in the Eastern Townships. It’s set to open next month, January 2026.
The mountain is within easy driving distance from Montreal (1 hour), Quebec City (3 hours), Ottawa (5 hours) and Toronto (6 hours). The area boasts 123 ski trails, nine snow parks, and 90 night skiing slopes–making it the largest illuminated mountain for skiing and snowboarding in North America, with skiing going until 9:30 pm during the week and 10:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
The property is inspired by Scandinavian architecture, with a focus on sustainable materials. According to marketing materials, “its design blends natural textures, warm tones, and modern sophistication to create a serene alpine retreat. The property features 134 spacious, light-filled suites designed for both short escapes and upscale extended stays.” The Residence Inn will feature studio, one- and two-bedroom suites, sleeping from four to eight guests. Each guest room or suite has a fully equipped kitchen, full-sized refrigerator, cooktop stove, dishwasher, dining area, and streaming-enabled TVs.
The property also has:
- Year-round amenities including a heated rooftop pool, hot tub, a dry sauna and fitness center.
- On-site ski and snowboard school with lessons and rentals, plus ski storage.
- Dining at CABINN restaurant, led by acclaimed Chef Laurent Godbout, with inventive comfort dishes, panoramic views, and seasonal programming throughout the year including live DJ sets on the weekends.
- Over 2,300 sq. ft of flexible meeting space with built-in audiovisual equipment for up to 120 attendees, ideal for corporate and social gatherings.
“Residence Inn by Marriott Bromont brings a level of sophistication and convenience never before experienced in Bromont,” said Serge Primeau, President of SPBL Hotel. “With exclusive ski-in, ski-out access, exceptional amenities, and spacious suite-style accommodations, we look forward to welcoming guests seeking both adventure and premium comfort in the Eastern Townships.”
