Six weeks after beloved country singer and icon Dolly Parton’s passing, her last project, the SongTeller Hotel and Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum, has opened in Nashville.
The hotel and attached museum were delayed twice, set to open first this past June, and then later on September 29. They opened during the first week of October instead, according to local news station WBIR.
Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel offers 245 rooms and suites designed with Dolly’s signature love for color and texture. Guests and the general public will have access to two on-site entertainment venues, Parton’s Live and Jolene’s, where they can dine, listen to live music and sip craft cocktails.

Additionally, attached to the hotel is Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum, a 20,000-square-foot venue where visitors can wind their way throughout Dolly Parton’s life.
Families from Dolly’s Imagination Library, hotel staff and representatives from Dolly Parton Enterprises attended the official grand opening.
The hotel and museum were created in partnership with Herschend. This family-owned attraction company also helped create Dolly Parton’s two other resorts in Dollywood: Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort & Spa and Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort.
