TRAVELSAVERS Canada says it is off to an impressive start to 2024. In the first half of the year, the consortium welcomed 17 new agencies, collectively generating $40 million in sales. This follows last year’s amazing pace of growth, with a 95% increase in sales.

“Our new agency owners are seasoned and professional travel advisors. More than 30 of them were motivated to leverage their business acumen by launching their own ventures. Their trust in our brand and confidence in our support systems have been instrumental in their decision to join our network,” said Jane Clementino, TRAVELSAVERS Canada SVP and General Manager.
TRAVELSAVERS Canada has also forged new supplier partnerships, including with leading hospitality companies Sandals, Club Med, The Palace Company, and Playa Hotels & Resorts.
Another new partner, Just You, offers experiences for the growing market of solo travellers.
MEMBER BENEFITS
TRAVELSAVERS Canada says new members enjoy a suite of benefits tailored to enhance business success and growth. Each receives personalized support from dedicated Business Analysts who provide ongoing guidance. The offerings also include marketing and branding programs, advanced technology tools, industry conferences, and a commission model the company says is typically double the industry standard.
“My first six months with TRAVELSAVERS Canada have been incredibly rewarding,” said Laurraine Payne, Owner and Manager, Rainy Day Travel Services.
“The high level of collaboration and coaching from my Business Analyst has been invaluable in growing my business, and the network of resources and expertise available to me is exceptional.”
To attract more like-minded agencies, TRAVELSAVERS Canada has introduced a referral program starting in the second half of 2024. Additionally, an internal communication campaign will aim to draw more entrepreneurs to the consortium.

BREAK AWAY INITIATIVE
In response to the influx of top-tier advisors, TRAVELSAVERS Canada recently launched the "Break Away" incentive program. This initiative seeks to appeal to talented advisors who have left larger agencies to establish their own businesses.
“We are onto something significant,” says Clementino. “We aim to encourage more entrepreneurs to ‘break away’ and join us. Our referral program will reward advisors who bring their peers to us, fostering collective growth and helping us achieve our goal of becoming the leading consortium in Canada.”
