TRAVELSAVERS Canada recognized its top-performing agencies and preferred partners during an awards gala that closed its Travel Market conference in San Antonio, Texas.
The awards were presented following the Sept. 24-27 conference at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa, which brought together more than 1,000 travel advisors and preferred partners.
"These winners show what focus and hard work can achieve," said Jane Clementino, Senior Vice President and General Manager of TRAVELSAVERS Canada.
"Their success sets a new standard for our network, and these agencies and partners are helping define what excellence looks like in the travel industry today."
Groupe Atrium received the Chairman’s Award for agencies, while Total Advantage Travel was presented with the President’s Award.
Luv to Travel and GOwithHIPPO Travel received Soaring Eagle Awards.
The Horizon Awards went to Murdoch Travel, South Coast World Travel and Verona Travel, while Progress Travel Services Inc., Travel Beyond Borders and Crowfoot Travel Solutions received Inspire Awards.
Vacances Inter Inc., CM Travel, Walnut Grove Cruise & Travel and Markham Cruise & Travel were recognized with Brand Champion Awards.
On the supplier side, Air Canada Vacations received the Chairman’s Award for Preferred Partner.
Celebrity Cruises was named Cruise Partner of the Year, while AmaWaterways received River Cruise Partner of the Year. Hyatt was named Hotel Partner of the Year, and Abercrombie & Kent Global DMCs received OnLocation Partner of the Year.
Discover Puerto Rico was named Destination Partner of the Year, while Delta Air Lines received Air Partner of the Year.
Among the Canada-specific awards, TravelBrands was named Tour Partner of the Year, Manulife received Specialty, Insurance or Ground Transportation Partner of the Year, and Collette was recognized as Best Sales & Service Partner.
Silversea was named Luxury Partner of the Year.
The awards ceremony concluded TRAVELSAVERS Canada’s four-day Travel Market conference, which included sessions focused on advisor business development, industry trends and supplier relationships.
