TDC has redesigned its training platform in response to the constant evolution of its network
and of the market, and to better serve its Agent@Home community.
TDC will continue to engage through their TDC Campus, their Learning Management System (LMS). The training offering has been redesigned to help TDC network members reach their full potential and enhance their knowledge. The new platform was launched at the end of June 2023.
Available online and on demand, it's designed for beginners and experienced Travel Professionals alike. The TDC Campus is exclusive to the company's travel professionals, especially those enrolled in agent@home program. It is the ultimate training platform, offering everyone the means to excel.
"I think what owners needed from us are the tools to help hire and train newcomers which is why we relaunched our TDC Campus this spring, TDC's General Manager Karine Gagnon told TravelPulse Canada earlier this summer. "There’s more content and it’s beefed up and better tailored, and there’s a dashboard for them to see the advancements of their trainees.
TDC Campus has everything agents need to know; from Leadership trainings for Experienced Professsionals who desire professional development, impact and influence or an introduction to the industy with essentials, there's training for every agent at every step in their careers.
The new program is set into sections for new agents or those who need a refresher. Both variations feature the following:
- Over 60 hours of content available in English and French;
- Training content divided into six programs: TDC Programs,
- Introduction to the Travel world, Customer Experience,
- Products and Destinations, Technical and Leadership;
- Courses designed specifically for people with no or minimal experience in the travel industry, perfect for your recruitment efforts;
- Modules to refresh the knowledge of more experienced travel professionals;
- Varied, fun learning methods, so you can have fun while you learn.
"It was a big piece we launched which I think owners appreciate.
