Direct Travel has announced its plans for a new platform that will ensure its independent leisure travel advisors have more time to grow their businesses and serve their clients. The platform, called Anywhere, will streamline daily administrative work by minimizing the need to work across multiple systems, improve commission visibility and tracking, and provide faster access to the information advisors need to better serve their clients.
"Travel advisors are the backbone of our industry, yet too often they're forced to navigate technology that creates more complexity than value," said Stephen Smith, EVP, Leisure Travel at Direct Travel. "With Anywhere, we're building a platform that streamlines operations, improves access to information, and helps advisors work more efficiently without sacrificing the flexibility and autonomy that make them successful. This is technology built with advisors, not for advisors."
The platform was designed based on the input of advisors across the Direct Travel network. Over the past 18 months, the team gathered feedback and identified pain points to gain a deeper understanding of how technology could better support advisors. The result is Anywhere, which brings together key workflows, information, and tools into a more connected and intuitive environment. Direct calls the platform “the future of the leisure advisor experience”,
As development continues, Direct Travel will work closely with advisors to refine Anywhere and ensure it delivers meaningful value from day one. Additional details, including rollout plans and feature updates, will be shared as the company moves toward its planned Q2 2027 launch.
