Ensemble has wrapped its 2026 Skyline series after stops in six North American cities, including four in Canada.
Held throughout September, the regional event series travelled to Montreal, San Diego, Vancouver, Toronto, Atlanta and Calgary, bringing together Ensemble members, preferred partners and company leadership for two days of programming in each city.
Sessions covered industry trends, business development, artificial intelligence, supplier and destination updates, professional development and Ensemble resources, including its ADX booking platform.
Attendees also had opportunities to meet with regional Business Development Managers and hear from preferred partners through panels and discussions featuring cruise lines, tour operators, destinations and other travel companies.
“Skyline is really about meeting our community where they are,” said Shahla Lalani, SVP, Marketing and Events, Ensemble.
“We believe there is tremendous value in bringing our entire network together, but there is something equally valuable about creating smaller experiences in our members’ own regions. The conversations are different. People have more time together, partners can connect directly with advisors and our team has the opportunity to listen and learn. That balance of learning, networking and shared experiences is exactly what we want our events to deliver.”
A Regional Counterpart to Larger Events
Skyline is designed as a smaller, regional counterpart to Ensemble's network-wide events such as Horizons. The format allows the company to bring programming directly to individual markets and give members more time with partners and Ensemble executives.
“One of the most important things we can do as an organization is spend time with our members and partners and listen,” said Michael Johnson, President of Ensemble.
“Skyline gives us the opportunity to hear what they are seeing in their businesses, what their clients are asking for and where they see opportunities ahead. Those conversations help us understand how we can continue to be a better partner for growth while also reinforcing what stronger through community really means. We learn as much from being in these rooms as we hope our members take away from being there.”
Disco Nights to Line Dancing
Each Skyline stop also included a social event outside the meeting room.
In Montreal, attendees experienced AURA at the Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal followed by dinner at Gaspar Brasserie. San Diego featured a 1970s disco-themed rooftop event dubbed Skyline Night Fever, while Vancouver hosted The Great Bowl Off.
Toronto attendees headed to the waterfront for a Deep Sea Soirée, while the Atlanta stop included an Atlanta Braves game.
Calgary closed out the series at Denim and Diamonds Ranch, where attendees swapped business attire for cowboy boots and took part in line dancing.
“Community doesn’t happen because you put people in the same room,” added Lalani.
“It comes from creating reasons for people to talk, share ideas, learn from each other and enjoy spending time together. That is something we think about very intentionally when we design our events, and Skyline is a great example of how those connections can grow when you bring the experience closer to members.”
Ensemble says the Skyline regional series will next return in early 2028.
